We work with all the legal aspects of contracts and agreements, script development and budgeting, business plan and fund raising, talent selection, producing, worldwide distribution, and marketing. Through the advisory services, we help you create a strategic outline highlighting specific objectives, timeframes and milestones in developing the Production, along with assigning accountability for each area. This includes but is not limited to creating a business plan for the entire Production (create or assist in developing); design a comprehensive marketing plan (create or assist in developing); script & story development (what are the messages and topics you want to convey); a budget break-down for all sections of the Production; work with donors, funders and sponsors, along with finding potential investors; develop complementary study material and an online interactive website (create or assist in developing); and partner with local and national organizations. We will also assist with the ongoing Production to supervise, facilitate and maintain the creative integrity of the project, along with providing professional insight and advice.

 

The Story will be developed and finalized into a finished script for the Production. This process includes strategic roundtable discussions, working with a selected screenwriter, and collaborating with staff and outside experts. Our team will review all the information with the Client and select the best approach (message/topics) for the overall storytelling of the Production. This can includes short promotional topics, a feature length documentary, television series or motion picture. Princebury will also research previous successful examples similar to the Production (in-depth comparative analysis). Once everything has been discussed and agreed upon, a strategic story format and final script will be produced.

 

Princebury will develop a comprehensive business plan for the Production, budget break-down based on the entire Production and script, and a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) for potential investors. We will also approach potential talent for the Production, including a producer, a director, a crew, and other acting talent, including but not limited to A-list actors. A final and complete “package” will be assembled and ready for filming and potential investors.

 

Princebury can help to create a comprehensive Marketing Plan and assist in building public awareness. Based on discussions, we will foster strategic partnerships with national and international media outlets, associations and organizations; create or revise a comprehensive interactive website with related information and resources, along with other social media; research and contact potential sponsors that could support or fund ongoing promotions, including corporations and foundations; and utilize Production content to create complementary material, such as booklets, study guides and interactive online curriculum. Once everything has been discussed and agreed upon, we will move forward to solidify partnership agreements, initiate the marketing plan and launch a media campaign. It is best to start a comprehensive marketing plan 10-12 months before initial production begins.

 

Princebury can also work with the Client to create comprehensive learning material for the general public, educational class rooms and other organizations, including high schools and universities. This includes multiple study booklets on particular subjects, study guides (current issues), interactive online computer course work (for credit), and other technical applications. We will help to create an engaging yet relative curriculum, along with specific target pilot programs and surveys to test the material, which includes filming selected sections, reviewing, and incorporating feedback. We will also coordinate with interested colleges or universities that would like to engage in a partnership.

 

Funding includes but is not limited to reviewing all current legal documentation; creating a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) for future presentations; identifying and contacting targeted sources of capital; developing financial projections and preparing for investor presentations; facilitating due diligence for prospective investors; and leading the financing to closing and funding. Our team will work with the Client through strategic meetings and in-depth discussions then move forward to solidify funding, sponsorship agreements and strategic partners.

 

Sponsorships include but are not limited to developing a comprehensive list of potential sponsors who would benefit from association with the Client and Production and would contribute financial capital for exposure from marketing and overall association with the Production. This process includes producing a Sponsor Package (Pitch-Deck), which describes the project, its impact, and separate investment categories; creating a proactive one (1) page overview (pdf), which will be sent to all potential Sponsors; and follow-up interaction to build relationships and solidify investment commitments.

 

Princebury can assist in selecting the appropriate Production Team, talent and filming locations, including securing tax credits and other related benefits and incentives, such as grants our foundations. We can also assist with the ongoing Production to supervise, facilitate and maintain the creative integrity of the project, along with providing professional insight and advice.

 

Prior to the Production being completed, Princebury will work with outside companies to find the proper Distribution through mainstream and alternative channels & outlets. We will initiate in-depth strategic meetings and discussions on how to properly distribute and market the Production to reach as broad an audience as possible, including bringing in specific experts in the areas of distribution, marketing, social media, public relations, and other related fields. We will attempt to secure all available distribution channels, retailers, outlets, organizations, and other relevant vendors.

 

Our team will continue to work with the Client through strategic meetings and discussions, advising on building a proper platform (audience), helping with marketing, branding and social media/awareness. We will also discuss national & international partners and other marketing opportunities. The idea is to maximize the Production’s impact on society and reach as many people as possible. We will focus on quality, content, and building continued momentum and outreach. This includes establishing the best distribution channel, working with Sponsors, finding the proper retail outlets, and coordinating with specific partners and organizations.

 

Other areas include a National Media & Promotional Tour to impact each community and maximize the Production’s impact across the country; and coordinate with Theater Events, which creates special opportunities for film premieres, speakers, national scholars, bestselling authors and civic youth groups. Additional related services as the client may reasonably need or request.

 

Development / Pre-Production

 

  • Work closely with the Client to make sure all objectives of Production are clear.
  • Assist in developing a strategy to effectuate the Production, including strategic meetings, group discussions and roundtables with the Client, external experts and others involved.
  • Create a strategic outline highlighting specific goals, timeframes and milestones in developing the Production, along with assigning accountability for each area.
  • Select and work with a screenwriter to assist in the story development and process of finishing well structured script.
  • Negotiate and option screenplay, if applicable, along with all legal aspects.
  • Advise Client in the selection of legal, accounting and other areas associated with the Production, if applicable.
  • Work with legal counsel in structuring and properly setting up the Production.
  • Advise Client concerning structure of Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Film Company, including setting up an LLC and separate bank account.
  • Assist in long-term strategy, business plan and marketing plan.
  • Polish and tailor script and seek final approval in a timely manner.
  • Assist in preparing a comprehensive Budget Breakdown based on the script.
  • Assist in preparing a Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) for potential investors, including all legal documentation.
  • Research and secure, if possible, fundraising, sponsorships and investors.
  • Create comprehensive learning material for educational class rooms and other organizations, including high school, college and organizations. This includes multiple literature booklets, study guides, online computer programs (for credit), software and other technical applications.
  • Oversee pilot programs with schools, students and other organizations to test material and Production concept/approach.
  • Discuss creating a comprehensive marketing plan, along with website and social media.
  • Research potential funding, sponsors and partnerships.

 

In conjunction with Financing

 

  • Identify, contact and communicate with targeted sources of capital;
  • Develop financial projections and preparing for investor presentations;
  • Facilitate due diligence for prospective investors;
  • Solicit proposals from interested investors;
  • Analyze and negotiate investor proposals and make recommendations on such proposals to management;
  • Assist with negotiation of financing documentation in conjunction with management and counsel;
  • Lead the financing to closing and funding;
  • Provide strategic advice on matters involving the financing and capital structure.
  • Such other related services as the client may reasonably need or request.

 

Production

 

  • Provide a working production schedule, including locations and time-lines.
  • Assist in selecting and hiring the Director, Director of Photograph, Technical Crew, and Editor and submit for approval.
  • Assist in selecting and organizing On-Camera Talent (“People of Interest”) and submit for approval.
  • Help in scouting and choosing specific locations, along with securing tax credits and other incentives.
  • Assist in acquiring insurance policy and all necessary permits.
  • Work with Writer/s and supervise necessary revisions and rewrites.
  • Supervise overall production with Line Producer.
  • Work with Director, Director of Photograph, Technical Crew, Talent, and Editor to supervise, facilitate and maintain the creative integrity of the project.
  • Assist with creating a comprehensive marketing plan and initiate prior to first day of production.
  • Assist in securing national and international distribution, along with pre-sales prior to first day of production.
  • Assist in securing additional funds and financial partners for P & A (Print and Advertising) for release and launch.
  • Such other related services as the client may reasonably need or request.

 

Post-Production

 

  • Provide editor with all necessary material and supervise creative integrity of the project.
  • Acquire original or pre-recorded background music, if necessary.
  • Create a Master file meeting all production standards for quality assurance.
  • Continue with marketing plan and build audience, platform and social media.
  • Work with and coordinate with sponsors, partners and other organizations.
  • Discuss national and international theatrical release, including platform release to build public awareness and momentum for the Production.
  • Such other related services as the client may reasonably need or request.
